Description :
Cleopatra, the Queen of Egypt, has bet Julius Caesar that her people could build him a sumptuous palace within 3 months. This honour has been bestowed on Edifis, who calls on his faithful Gaulish friends, Asterix, Obelix and Getafix to help him in this impossible task. You'll have 20 missions to complete (made of numerous mini games like shooting, puzzle solving..) to pull it off.

The map is at the heart of the game. You must move Asterix around it to reach your mission points. Mission points are shown by a flashing green tile. Asterix moves using a die. Press 5 to roll the die when prompted. Once you have thrown the die, you must send Asterix off in his initial direction using keys 2, 4, 6 and 8. Asterix will advance until he reaches an intersection or when the die displays 0. When you arrive at an intersection, send Asterix in new direction to continue his journey.
