Summary: Sorry, Glenn Beck is ruining America.
Comment: This book is intended purely as shock jocking. It's not anything but Glenn Beck shouting on paper. It's really ruining America to have divisive, fear-mongering, black-and-white Conservatives brandish their trash so freely. Rational, realistic people will find this book as ridiculous as I did. What a waste.

Having borrowed this book from a neighbor who recommended it enthusiastically, I was looking forward to what I hoped would at least be an entertaining read. Instead what I got was an infuriating litany of half-truths, distortions and out right manipulation of the facts to fit the author's sad, destructive and pathetic opinions. It was tough getting through the book without tossing it across the room or out the window. What is most exasperating about Beck is that he is apparently clever enough to hoodwink the uninformed and gullible, which apparently comprises quite a few of our fellow citizens. One begins to understand the misdirected rage that has created the misbegotten Tea Party movement as based on the sick, race-baiting angry rantings of Beck and his ilk.
I've now read many of the reader reviews on Amazon and it appears they fall into two broad categories: Fans of the Beck TV act who chug his noxious KoolAid and those who have taken the time to fact-check this screed and see it for the clever deception it is.
Folks, it is all too easy to simply accept without questioning what Back says and buy into his thinly-veiled hate speech and destructive agenda. We should be very wary of this poseur who wraps himself in the mantle of patriotism and is tearing our country apart.
I am grateful at least that I did not buy this book and put money into the pocket of this self-aggrandizing egomaniac.

Summary: Perfect for ADD/HD people
Comment: I paid a lot more for this than what Amazon.com is selling it for, but it is worth every dollar. I couldn't put this book down. The way the content is presented makes you want to keep reading. The quality of the hardcover is excellent. The extra details on each and every page must have taken a long time to design and implement. It would make an excellent text book for grade schools. Humor combined with facts makes this a very interesting and enjoyable read. The endless pages of references at the back of the book are very nice. Angry, bitter and controlling people will not enjoy this book at all.

Summary: Beck still get it!
Comment: Every Glenn Beck book that I have read has been entertaining and informative. I have met Glenn and he is the same guy that you see or read. He is not PC and could never be a politician because he calls it as he sees it. This particular book has made me more informed regarding the issues of today. I would suggest this book to anyone regardless of your political views.
