So easy to use even very small kids can set up the rockets, jump, stomp, and launch rockets on their own. Kids easily give this kids rocket power, and they will be grinning ear to ear about the distance they made it fly. The perfect indoor or outdoor toy. Customer Rating: Summary: Hours of Fun Comment: I bought this for my 2 year old grandson and he loves it. He has learned how to adjust the launcher to control the trajectory of the rocket in order to have in land in s specific area
Customer Rating: Summary: tons of fun, but easy to break about 17 different ways Comment: all 4 of my kids, from ages 2 to 10, absolutely loved this thing. then the very flimsy base broke, and there was no way to fix it - either the fix just broke again immediately, or if you fixed it really well, the angle of trajectory was no longer adjsutable. so they just held the launch tube in their hands while stomping, which worked fine for a while, but then the stupid screw that held it onto the base ripped through the thin plastic of the tube, and there was air leaking out. then the thin, brittle plastic of the hollow rockets got smashed, one by one. basically, it worked beautifully for a couple of months, and we extended its useful life by several more months with lots of duct tape and jury-rigging, but it just went in the trash last weekend. and my two-year-old is now wandering forlornly through the backyard with a sorry-looking rocket in one hand, searching for it. i'm browsing for a similar product now that's sturdier... but i may wind up just buying exactly this again and plan on replacing it every 6-12 months. at $[...], not such a big deal. and they did learn about the awesomeness of duct tape, so, hey, educational bonus.
Customer Rating: Summary: Kids LOVE these rockets! Comment: My children and their cousins recieved stomp rockets as gifts from the grandparents. The kids (and adults) love these rockets! It's a great gift for any age from 4 to 11. Over the years, the children spent hours and entire afternoons launching rockets in the front yard, having contests, shooting them over the roof and into trees. They were so much fun we purchased several sets and have given them over the years as gifts -- always with the same reaction. (And many recipients turned around to purchase more for favorite kids in their lives).
Kids LOVE these rockets. They are safe, soft, super easy to use and take off with a burst going up to 30 feet in the air.
The sets are suprisingly durable and for all the use we've had (literally hundreds of hours), we've only experienced one breakage and that was after 5 years of use and with a guest known for breaking things. The laucher tipped over and the child stomped on the housing breaking the frame. The biggest problem we ever had was the adults (especially the dads) monopolizing the fun. It's irresistable, stomp! whosh! and watch the rocket fly high!
You do have to adjust the blue tubing to get the kinks out or the rocket will not launch well.
You don't need the extra rockets unless you really enjoy hearing screams of glee from your children as they launch these rockets over roofs and into trees. In that case, some rockets are bound to get stuck and if you have an extra supply, you can keep going until the others fall down or blow off the roof. Of course, there's always the open space and these things can be shot without aiming them for a roof.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Entertainment for a 4 yr old Comment: My 4 yr old grandson spent hours playing with his rockets. It was a hit at our family reunion and even his 16 yr old cousin joined in the fun. It seems very durable and stood up to almost constant jumping on the "launch pad"
Customer Rating: Summary: Fun toy! Comment: My son received these rockets for his 4th birthday. He is able to operate them by himself and his 6 year old sister enjoys them also. This toy is easily assembled and disassembled to store in a small space.
