Summary: Texas Monthly magazine
Comment: Pretty good magazine most of the time. It's amazing how much advertising they sell and display each month, but the articles are usually pretty interesting, albeit with a Texas view of things. I'd like to see a little more controversy instead of always writing lauds of Texas figures. ie, tell the truth about about George Bush and LBJ that they were fairly ignorant puppets of their administrations. Advertising is geared toward the ultra-rich so don't expect to find much of value if you're not one of them, but it's fun to imagine buying $1,000 dollar belts and $50,000 watches.

Comment: Haven't received an issue yet, it has been 2 months since I purchased. I purchased last year also and never received anything. Guess I'm stupid for trying again but I like the magazine.

Comment: Always enjoy receiving Texas Monthly -- a great couple of hours (or more) of interesting and informative articles about subjects one would never come accross in the normal span of monthly endeavors! I actually like reading the ads for places and things about which I did not know, before.

Comment: I'm only on my first issue of Texas Monthly and it has some good articles however the magazine is loaded with a ton of ads. I will let you know more when I recieve more issues of the magazine.
