Customer Rating: Summary: Yet another tweenybopper mag Comment: J-14 has once again gone into the realm of being yet another trashy tweenager magazine which we only buy for the cheap posters. This magazine has really boring articles, cheap posters, cheesy quizzes, and a cover which looks like somebody threw a bunch of pictures of teen stars onto a piece of paper. The articles are insanely boring and mainly cover stuff that we don't care about. "Miley Cyrus has an allowence!","OMG Ashley Tisdale likes chocolate chip cookies". Who really cares about this stuff? I want to hear stories about tween stars admitting they are pregnant, or have cheated on their boyfriends. REAL ARTICLES RATHER THAN CHEAP STORIES! The main reasons the articles are this bad are either a) they don't want to let the kiddie readers about the REAL lives of celebrities, b) the reporters of these magazine have no idea how to get real gossip out of a celebrity. Plus the articles are soo short and the magazine is 80% posters. The posters are also very cheap and they are soo bright that they are kinda eye soring. They pose no real value and make the celebrities look like 10 year olds. Then there are the quizzes. The quizzes are nothing more than stuff like "What type of flirt are you", and "Are you a good friend?". The cover I think is almost the worst part. It has no structure and it is basicaly a mixture of photos,bright colors, and misleading headlines. For example: An issue could read "Miley spills major secrets" and her secret is "She has Solja boy on her ipod". They make us think we are getting a real good story, but it always turns out to be something we don't care about. J-14 magazine truelly is terrible and if you want a good magazine go read Seventeen, Vogue, or something that's artices aren't "Selena Gomez has 32 Veera Bradley purses!" Customer Rating: Summary: Dumb, but fun Comment: I know these books are trash. I buy them for posters. I'm 14 and the only time i actually read them is at my camp when it's raining. Plus, that's a tradition, to buy trashy, cheap, filled with strictly gossip information and read them and see how low people can go. I mean look at Kate and John Gosselin. =[ oh well. It has all my favorite stars i dont think it is good for little kids like 8 year olds because it has nothing they are intrested in. I think it is best to be 10 and up because then you are more inrested in beatuy, Hair, Boys, Gossip, And celebs. It like star, US weekly but for teens! :D I love this magizine! Oh yah for twilight fans it has plenty of robert pattison kirsten stweart and taylor launter!.
