Summary: It's an electric shaver, why all the hype?

The last couple of years I've used a blade, (the brand that vibrates) because while this may be changing,
many lower-end shavers come with ni-cad batteries that prefer to be drained all the way before recharging.
Which means you buy two or have to burn calories keeping track of usage.
Higher end shavers may use li-ion but since two lower end shavers cost less than one higher end I could never
justify the price.
The Braun PocketGo P-70 Men's Shaver is the best of both worlds, it feels well made and designed by someone
who can think about how things SHOULD work.
Swapping out batteries on this thing isn't just easy, it hints at how this should be handled by every device.
The flip cover for the foil can't be lost or dropped, the blade itself gave a close shave,
and like I said before it has a solid feeling. Not heavy like a brick, but not flimsy or chintzy.
The real problem I'm having at the moment is a quandary.
This thing seems like it should last for years, but at these prices how can I not buy a spare?

Summary: great mini on-the-go shaver
Comment: I needed a convenient mini-shaver since i would sleep over at my girlfriends place all the time so I looked on Amazon and found this puppy. Damn this shaver does it's job. I have a Panasonic shaver that cost me $70 that doesnt do as good a job as this Braun. I've had this shaver for a good year and I have yet to change the batteries on it and it works perfectly fine. The trimmer is decent for small spots w/ very little hairs but besides that it's an ease to clean with the mini brush and it works great. I won't replace it for any other shaver!

Summary: Great product for the price
Comment: I never really had a desire to use a foil shaver until I saw the price for this one. I'm very glad I decided to try it. All you have to do when you receive it, is pop the batteries in, and it's ready to go. The finished shave was almost as smooth as a regular razor, the difference was barely noticeable. The side trimmer isn't great, but you can't expect salon quality trimming from a travel shaver. The only negative to this shaver is that if your hair grows in along the skin and not straight out (mainly the neck area), it does take several passes to get to it. It takes some getting used to, but once you figure out how to angle the shaver, it will give you a very good shave. I'm glad I did not spend much more money on a different shaver that I most likely would not have been happy with. If you're on the fence about buying this one, go ahead and give it a try.

Comment: If this had sold for three times the cost, I still would have thought I got more than my money's worth. As soon as I took it out of one of Amazon's easy open shipping packages (Yea, Amazon) and installed the batteries (twist the bottom and pull)I know I was gonna love it because it reminded me of a Braun corded razor from years ago. But this one doesn't nick or leave red skin. It is awfully powerful for an AA battery powered shaver. In seven minutes I had a shave as good as any of my Norelco corded shavers (at a fraction of the cost). This product is what all battery powered electric shavers should be. I'm buying a couple more to stow in my several briefcases and bags. Imagine: no downtime while recharging!If you are miserly, use rechargable AA batteries for hundreds of uses before discarding them. Buying a great product from among all the shavers on the market is a tribute to Amazon's review system. When you see a product get over four stars, you know you're likely to get a good deal.
