Comment: Very pleased with Hearth Gloves. I use them when grilling on my charcoal BBQ grill. They fully protect my hands in case I have to move anything that is really hot, like if I have to lift the rack up, etc. they protect really good. I think these were originally made for use at the fireplace, but they work good on the grill, also.

Summary: Great gloves for a great price
Comment: These gloves are great. They protect from the heat and allow to rearrange the burning wood in your fireplace with your hands. I don't think you can carry around a burning piece of wood for hours on end with the "hearthmates", but picking one up and putting it back within some 10 to 20 seconds or so is not a problem. This is what I wanted them for and this is what they do, so I am one happy camper (pun intended).

Comment: I have small hands. These gloves are for large hands, yet with a pair of winter gloves on, these gloves fit right over my own gloves. Extremely reasonable price! And when my forearms hit the hot iron stove, the gloves protect me.
