Comment: I was pretty skeptical about spending so much money on what seemed to be a glorified exfoliant but i found it to be well worth it. I have been using dermanew for about a month now and I already seen my skins texture and tone dramatically improve. The normal mini blemishes I get have subsided preventing any new hyperpigmentation and scarring. My old acne scars have begun to slowly fade as well as one stubborn age spot on my left cheek has also started to get lighter and shrink a bit. I cant wait to see the results as I continue to use this for another month.
The timer on this product is very useful as I could easily become over ambitious with scrubbing all my imperfections away. I was using dermanew about three times a week, but I will probably drop down to two (or move the sponge to the low side setting) since my face got a little red last time. Although this will not produce medical results overnight, it is a cheaper at home solution for microdermabrasion that will give gradual improvements with consistant use. I have used the brush side with my facial cleaner before but it didnt really make any differnce.

Comment: I purchased this little wonder after advise that I received from Kandee the makeup artist on youtube. My boyfriend thought I was crazy for listening to some chick on youtube. But I proved him wrong. My face after using this product is amazing! The brush looking side is a deep cleaner that I have been using daily and the crystal microderm abrasion formula I have used once. Kandee recomended using the microderm abrasion part once a week which I think is all I will need, but I will continue to use the deep cleaning brush everyday. Best 70.00 I have ever spent for a cleaner healthier complexion. I would recommend this to everyone and I have!

Summary: The most overpriced and ridiculous thing you can buy
Comment: I paid $70 for the DermaNew microdermabrasion system at home, and after using it for a couple of times I can honestly say that is not worth the money. You can accomplish the same results you get with this system, by using any other cheaper system for sale out there, like Neutrogena or simply rubbing oatmeal on your face!
On top of that, you CANNOT find the replacement foam applicators for the face by themselves, the company discontinued the sale of applicators alone!???. Isn't this ridiculous? The only face applicator available comes as a set with a body applicator and a brush which you never really use and have no need to buy them again and will cost you another $15 for cheaply made products that disintegrate after 3-4 uses.

Summary: The easiest way to glowing skin...
Comment: Okay, so 80 bucks seems like a lot of money to plunk down for an at-home microdermabrasion kit...especially when everyone from Homedics to L 'Oreal is marketing a more cost-friendly version of what appears to be the same EXACT thing. However, experience (and lots of money not-so-well spent) has taught me that, in most cases, you generally get what you pay for. Case in point: a few months ago I finally made the decision to trade in my 99 cent ultra-black mascara for a high-end name brand version of the same product...I immediately discovered that mascara-induced racoon eyes really can be avoided! Who knew? After that, I vowed never to pinch pennies when it comes to beauty. Now there are, of course, some exceptions; my mother swears by Oil of Olay -as do I- but when you're talking about microderabrasion, a proceedure that can cost as much as $150 per session, it's hard to believe that you can achieve the same exact results with something that is a mere fraction of the cost.
Skeptical but desperate for youthful looking skin, I opted to splurge on the DermaNew Facial Rejuvenation System. Prior to my purchase, I did a fair amount of research so I knew that what I was getting the crème de la crème of the more than twenty-plus versions that I had to choose from.
Just two weeks after using it, I began to notice that my once sallow complexion (thanks to stress, lack of sleep and yo-yo dieting) had been replaced with a healthy glow. Now my skin looks soft and peachy, kind of like it did when I was twelve...you know, when youth and beauty was effortless...sigh!
All in all this product is best for someone with little to no skin flaws. Those who are expecting miracle results or results similar to what you would get from a full-service salon treatment may be dissapointed. My advice, shell out the necessary funds in order to get your skin under control, then use this product for the upkeep. This is great for removing the dead skin that regular washing tends to leave behind.
