Editorial Reviews:

Designed for those with smaller hands who may prefer a smaller, lighter pruner. It is comfortable to use yet every bit as sturdy and powerful as the other Felco models. Ideal for small pruning work such as grape vines, shrubs and young trees. It is also the choice of many florists. The anvil blade is screw mounted. The shorter blades facilitate closer cutting to the stem of the plant. Length 7.25".

Customer Rating: Summary: Big deal for small hands Comment: I got the Felco for my wife, who is an avid gardener. She has used other pruners in the past, but has never been so enthusiastic in her praise of the others the way she has been with the Felco pruner. She specifically commented that the Felco fits her hand better and feels more comfortable, and also has a great blade and mechanism. I knew there was a difference when she started storing the Felco inside the house when all of the others would be left outside or in the garden shed. And while I can't really comment personally on the quality of this pruner (I leave the gardening and pruning to her), seeing is believing and when I see her using the Felco, I see a difference.
Customer Rating: Summary: LOVE it Comment: I love these things. They fit my hand perfectly. They are extreamly sharp and cut even big branches. I hope to use them forever since I can replace the parts. What more is there?
Customer Rating: Summary: Great pruners Comment: I've owned and used many pruners in the past and found these to be the best for my petite hands as the handles are not spread out too far like normal sized ones. The blades keep their sharpness after many cuttings and is well constructed. Well worth the price.
Customer Rating: Summary: Simply The Best Pruners Comment: These are simple the best pruners I have ever owned. I recommend them to anyone who loves their garden. They are worth the price.
Customer Rating: Summary: Best pruner for smaller hands. Comment: I bought a set of these pruners for my girlfriend. She had a set of no-name bypass cutters from one of those big box hardware stores. The joint was loose on those, the blade rusty and she kept mashing the stems of the roses I bought her, so what was I to do? I own a set of the F-2's and wasn't going to give those up. So I got her a set of F-6's. Besides the handles being closer together, the bottom cutter on these cutters is replaceable and is narrower than the F-2's. So you can slip these cutters into a smaller spot. Not that it happens all that often.
On hand sizes, I wear a XXL work glove, (I have long fingers) she wears a Ladies L, which is a Men's M work glove. So if you have really tiny hands in comparison these cutters may still be too big for you. I can use either the F-2 or the F-6 but I prefer my F-2's, with the reverse being true for her.
She's delighted with these cutters. You will be too, you'll never go back to those other cutters.
