This Memory Card allows you to save up to 1019 blocks of game information. That's more than fourtimes the memory of the GCN Memory Card 251. The number of blocks needed to save your game information will vary from game to game. You will only be able to save or load game information for games that are designed to use Memory Cards.

Comment: I bought the Nintendo 251 card "new" last week; it failed within 8 hours of use while playing Sims Bustin' Out. This card was to replace the dead 251 card. all I can say is that this card has 4 times the memory of the 251 card and cost me roughly the same price. It seems to be working flawlessly with all of our RPG games and the Sims game mentioned.

Comment: I bought the card after getting my hands on a large amount of Gamecube games and finding that my old memory cards were full. With this single card, I was able to copy all my previous saves from my other cards and start playing all my new games, allowing me to only need this one card instead of three. I love it.

Comment: My gamecube card was supposed to be 1,019 blocks, but all I got was 59. My seller cheated me, not sure if I will shop amazon again.

Summary: Be carefull with this card...
Comment: Well, when I first got this memory card, it was pretty good. All my gamecube games worked fine until I got Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door (pmttyd) and I thought maybe there's just something wrong with the game, but then I remembered how these thing tend to corrupt. So I played some of my other gamecube games but they all said file corrupted. I went back to pmttyd and there was a corrupted file, so I deleated it and everything was fine for a few days... the corrupted file came back somehow so I deleated it, and then that somehow deleated the hardest and longest gamecube I have: Super Smash Bros Melee. I just began the game again yesterday and I'm going to see if can unlock everything again. Now I bought another one of these cards to copy the data onto so it hopefully won't happen again. If you get one of these things, be very carefull, corruption may be right around the corner...
