Customer Rating: Summary: Essential, but pricey Comment: I love Bare Escentual Eyeshadows, there are so many colors to choose from, different combinations you can make, you can wear them wet or dry depending on the look you want to convey, but they are pricey for what you get. I want all natural makeup and I dont use them liberally so they last me a long time but I really wish they were a little cheaper. One minor point, when you get them brand new and have to lift the tab up, its sometimes IMPOSSIBLE to do so without hurting your fingers! Customer Rating: Summary: The best out there Comment: I have these eyeshadows in 4 colors. I love them. They blend easily together and have a subtle sparkle. I'd recommend getting the bare minerals eyeshadow brush, because the full end and more precise end work well with the product. If you're bad at applying loose eyeshadow with a brush, you can use your finger. These are great because you can choose the degree of drama. Brush on a little for a day look, or use a wet brush for bold color. Also very good for sensitive eyes and contact lense wearers like me. I won't go back to all of the other brands I used to use for a few reasons. There is no eye irritation with these eyeshadows. They blend so well. You can create a natural looking eye or a dramatic eye. You can use them wet or dry. You can use the "foiling" technique with some of the shimmery shadows. For those that don't know what "foiling" is: foiling is a technique using a smidgen of water and mixing it to a shimmery eye shadow then applying it to the eye lid. Once dry it gives the illusion of the shimmer of foil. Foiling looks great on tanned or darker skin tones. A lot of the younger gals are foiling and this eye shadow gives the best results for that. The shadows can be used to line the eye, especially the darker shades. This is the only shadow that I have become addicted to because of so many color choices and the different ways to blend them. All of the colors go beautifully with each other. So there is no need to buy those 3 shadow palattes that are so popular in the stores. There is no waste with bare Escentuals eyeshadows. The ways to use these eye shadows are unlimited. You get a lot for your money in that little tub of shadow.
