Comment: Bought for four year old, used by older kids as well. This drum is very durable, it has taken quite a beating (no pun intended) and is in perfect shape still. It has an attractive look to it and a good sound as well. It's a quality instrument for children at a great price. Would definitely recommend if you are growing a collection of children's instruments for home or daycare, etc.

Comment: I got this for my son's first birthday because I wanted something more like a real drum rather than a little plastic toy. The drum is very durable and hasn't shown any signs of wear or tear yet with my son playing on it. It works great for playing with the mallets or any other random toy my son likes to use. The mallets are soft enough that he can bang the mallet other toys and won't hurt them. Great toy to start your kid into the world of percussion.

Comment: I got this drum for my two and a half year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She smiles and even sings when drumming... amazing. I highly recommend this drum to any parent with a toddler. The drum itself is of excellent construction and is not a cheaply made plastic toy. This drum is definitely worth the money.
