Customer Rating: Summary: Not so much fun Comment: Feel like it is waste of time to play this. Played a couple of hours but still don't what this is all about. Not a good deal
Customer Rating: Summary: Amazing!! Comment: If you liked the first one, then PM TTYD is a great follow up to a unique rpg experience. This sequel takes the good things about the first one, improves and expands them all. This game however doesn't stray too far from the original formula. Great experience!!
Customer Rating: Summary: WORST MARIO GAME EVER!!! Comment: My headline says it all, doesn't it? This game is 90% reading about what is gong on. What the hell?! If I wanted to read, I'd have bought a book!
Customer Rating: Summary: Morrowind in Mario form Comment: I am an elder scrolls gamer. I have played many bethesda titles and a large assortment of other games. I have very high standards on what games I play. That said, I would like to state that if you liked Morrowind then you will most likley have an affinity for Paper Mario and the doors of confusion or whatever this thing is called. The extensive dialog helps build on the plot and develope characters. Now as for you Doom, Call of Duty, and whatever other first person shooter that consists of nothing but bullets(by the way, I have played all the games I just listed) you will be very dissapointed that you have to use that thing in the upper region of your skull called your brain. If it is nonstop action you first person shooter gamers want you shouldn't be working at Mcdonalds. The reading can be skipped if you want but I think it is a good thing that Nintendo is encouraging children to utilize their brain and not just blow random people and items up. The actual storyline is a good change from what we see in most video games today, and I am proud to support a company that has made games like Brain Age and Paper Mario to help children increase their ability to think. If anyone can tell me when X-Box or Playstation have last made an educational game with the intention of furthering childrens ability to think I may change my view. Until that day I will support a company that encourages children to think: Nintendo.
P.S. There is this thing called [..]that most people who post reviews on Amazon need to use to check a word if they are unsure of how it is spelled.
Customer Rating: Summary: Mario's Best RPG Comment: All the Mario RPG's are very fun, and are second only to Mario's platformers, but Paper Mario 2 is by far the best one. The combat system of this game is nearly perfect, and the storyline is better than any other Mario game out there. This has incredible replay value, a 40+ hour adventure that you'll want to replay over and over again. Plus finding all the game's secrets takes an additional 10+ hours. The graphics and sound of this game are also pretty far above average. This is Mario's best RPG and the best game on Gamecube as well. I rate this game 99.5/100.
