Editorial Reviews:

Never misplace your readers again, with CliC's stylish, magnetic front connection ready readers. CliCs offer you "as needed" access to your glasses. No more granny chains or uncomfortable elastic headbands, and no more fumbling in your purse or briefcase for your glasses. Reach for them hanging around your neck on their size-adjustable band, simply click the magnets together over your nose, and you can read at will. There are 4 unisex, fashion-forward colors: translucent blue, red or clear, and blonde tortise. And each color offers you your choice of 6 different magnification strengths: 1.25 and 1.50 mild strengths, 1.75 and 2.00 medium strengths and 2.50 or 3.00 mature strengths. They also can be fitted for prescription lenses. Easy push/pull adjustment.

Summary: love them but mostly for women
Comment: Love this product... have gotten many over the past 3 years..
It is a women's product tho unless the man has a small frame. Even with the adjustment, the frame isn't big enough for a medium/large man.

Summary: Front Connect Readers
Comment: These are the second order for these type of glasses. Not only do they do their functional job to read but my husband gets so many "I really like your glasses" comments. Most have never seen this type and are intrigued or being that this type is used on TV by the coroner on CSI, many people notice that. The screw came out of the first pair so we will see if that is an ongoing problem or just a fluke.

Summary: My favorite pair of glasses
Comment: I have four pairs of CliC adjustable glasses. Prior to purchasing the CliCs, I owned several pairs of reading glasses and had them all over the house, in the car, at the office, in the garage, etc. Even then, when I went to reach for a pair of readers, I could not find them. With the CliCs, I always have them hanging around my neck. There are always present and available.

When I am around friends or even strangers that are unfamiliar with the CliC glasses, they are always amazed at when I put them on. The click of the magnets makes them take a second look and then they remark at how cool they are. Several of my friends have purchased the glasses from Amazon after observing them on me.

My first set were blue, which I did not particularly like. My last three pair have been clear, which makes them just about disappear from my face.

I would highly recommend these glasses to anyone in need of readers.

Summary: They did not fit me and clear frame is really cheap lookingThes
Comment: These glasses do not work. not only do they look cheap (worst of plastic ever!) they never fit anyone properly!! and the lenses are even worst! they fog up so easily, scratch even with tissue and none of the four i bought have the right prescribed reading grade. save your money - not even worth a penny. If you must have them, the black looks half way decent. Red really looks the worst of the bunch - looks like toy plastic.

Summary: Bad Advertising Decision
Comment: This is the second pair of glasses I bought for my husband. He loved the first pair, but he was wrestling with the boys and he broke them. Mind you, my husband is a thinker and warms up slowly to something he thinks might be seen as trendy. However, after wearing these glasses just a few times he was hooked. He has a very large head, but they still fit him well enough for it not to be an issue.
Ok, the problem with the second pair is that Clic put their name right on the front of the glass lense in the upper left hand corner. I get the point, but what a stupid place to put it. The wearer doesn't see it, but anyone looking at them does and it is a distraction. I don't like it.
The glasses get overwhelming attention on the street. Everyone comments on them. Why not put it on the temple frame. Why doesn't click advertise somewhere else, you wouldn't have to do much to have your business explode with popularity, but to do something that distracts from your glasses is shameful. Try again, soon please, so that when the next pair breaks, I won't think twice about buying another pair.
Thanks,
Jan
