Customer Rating: Summary: Financial Times Comment: Newspaper as always is full of good news. This is the first time i've ordered the newspaper through Amazon.com and in the first couple of weeks, I'm getting the paper a day late into my mailbox.
Customer Rating: Summary: Internet subscription of the FT Comment: Financial Times
The FT is an excellent newspaper providing daily coverage of financial news, but also of the cultural scene, of the arts and the book world from a worldwide perspective.
The problem is in the delivery system with chinks not having been taken care of over several years: my order went in Sept.11, with a prospective delivery date of Sept.28. After my purchase this date changed to Oct. 16, but when I used the automated phone line to the supplier Synapse, the delivery changed again to Oct. 26 - and this company has not even processed my subscription yet by getting in touch with the FT.
In sum: customers could be much better served than this.
Customer Rating: Summary: Financial Times is excellent Comment: The Financial Times is of the highest order. I'm an accountant for a giant drug store chain in the USA I won't face the business world with out Financial Times.
However, I see a number of complaints about the inefficiency of having it delivered thru Amazon.
So far I have been able to keep myself in FT by using the American Airlines magazines for miles program. The fun part is No Cash! You just trade in 2,200 miles and get a year subscription. It's very nice.
The down side to that solution is that you have to catch it listed as an available publication on the mags for miles website. This is difficult. Basically you just have to check the website [...] three or four times a week until you hit the jackpot. Believe me if the FT is listed as available order now! Do not go refill your cup then expect to reorder. Poof! It's gone.
I make sure I re-order months before my subscription expires.
Be well informed. Read Financial Times.
Customer Rating: Summary: Global-centric business news Comment: Great source of news and analysis of the happenings of business and finance around the world. The global answer to the Wall Street Journal.
Customer Rating: Summary: Misleading, always a week late - but great when it comes. Comment: Shame on you. Always a week late? Pay someone to print it in town. We are a city of 1M. My little town of .5M-$4M homes, surely is worthy of our money's worth. This is supposed to be a subscription to a daily paper. Are you telling me that not one of the papers produced here offered you even a reasonable going rate? What about the Daily News (real estate's public record)?
