Comment: Bought this product after reading a lot reviews on various product. This one is cheap, the build was good, easy to setup (you need to read instruction). It's a portable system, it will shake. I filled the base with sand, so I don't have to worry about it when winter comes. Overall a great product.

Comment: This hoop is an excellent value for the money. I was able to assemble most
of it myself in less than an hour, just needed my teenager to help on the step
where you have to put the hoop and backboard on the pole in 1 step. I filled
the base with water and it was very stable even when we had 30mph storm.
The backboard itself does vibrate a little compared to a fixed board, but for
the cost and for casual hooping it serves its purpose well.

Summary: MISSING PARTS!!!
Comment: I received this item today and as we were putting it together, we realized that we were missing an entire package of the base hardware. I'm sure that this hoop is great, but because of the inconvenience of having to put it together without specific items required for optimum performance --- I have to give this item 1 star. Mistakes happen: I'm completely aware of that - however, having an eight year old completely disappointed outweighs any understanding and patience for such negligence. An eight year old's birthday only happens once and now what he is going to remember is utter disappointment. It's really a shame.

Comment: We bought this for our six year old. It is perfect. The set up was certainly a two man-job. But, my wife and I were able to do it. My son loves it. Like the other reviews - it is impossible to pour sand into it. Also, I'd recommend that you adjust the height of the rim prior to set up. The directions don't tell you to do this.
But, for the money - you can't beat it.
