Even after getting a micro USB cable the only way I could get any files on or off was with a Bluetooth dongle. No Cable and Moto Phone Tools aren't compatable. But I'm sure the product works well with the correct phone. Customer Rating: Summary: Good stuff Comment: Though it was listed as being Ver3.0 I was sent Ver4.0(very happy). Then after a series of upgrades I got it up to Ver5.2(even happier). Excellent program to interface with your MOTO, wanted an easy way to backup and transfer contacts on a cell without a SIM card and this does it. Comment: If you have a razr phone or a simple(relative to what's available now)phone that's compatible with this phone tool, then don't hesitate. I think they're giving these away now because of bluetooth enabled phones and computers. All I really wanted this for was backing up all my numbers. I've had previous phones die before i could do this. Now all my numbers are backed up and I can send texts through my phone by typing on my computer. I have "dial up" access to the internet with my computer, anywhere that I have a cell signal, internet access just uses the minutes on my phone plan. I can syncronize my calender on my razr phone with outlook. there's even more that I can't remember. I think I bought it for $1.65 plus $4.00 shipping. It installed on my xp computer like any other software. Customer Rating: Summary: Zero Stars Comment: The product allegedly allowed transfer of images and sound between a windows pc and a motorola cell phone (specifically the V3 RAZR), the software would recognize the phone (so I guess the cable worked), but beyond telling me there was a cell phone at the other end of the cable, it did nothing at all. It was not worth the cost to return (It cost more to return than the item cost). I would not recommend this product.
