It's even easier to transport, and quicker and easier to set up at a tailgate party, campsite or any other location where fun, food and friends get together. Like the original RoadTrip Grill, the LXE features authentic open flame grilling, two powerful burners that are fully adjustable, electronic ignition and uncommon cooking versatility thanks to mix-and-match cooking surface options. However, a cleverly designed new stand distinguishes the LXE model from its predecessor. The X-shaped chassis is wheeled for easy maneuvering in both the upright and collapsed-for-transport positions. It sets up quickly and provides excellent stability for cooking, thanks to the simplicity of the scissor-like leg and frame design. Two side tables integrated into the unit slide out for grilling and cooking duties, then retract under the unit in a moment's motion for travel and storage. Because the grill is affixed to the stand and the lid features a locking mechanism, the unit is secure and steady while towing it to and from a vehicle using a convenient pull handle. The Coleman Roadtrip Grill LXE is designed to be used completely assembled. If table top use is desired - simply hand remove the 4 plastic cap screws and start cooking! Summary: One Cool Grill!
Comment: I have only used the grill once because I just got it a couple of weeks ago. But, I love it. This grill has a large cooking area. I had like 8 to 10 Ka-Bobs on there are one time. I have seen some reviews that said that it got to hot in the center and did not cook evenly. I think this is partially true, but it was not a problem for me. You can always rearrange you food while flipping sides and so on. I have no complaints about the grill. Can't wait to use it again! Tailgating this weekend!

Summary: Some things to consider
Comment: I bought this grill based on all the reviews I read..however,there are a few areas i was surprised.
1. The guy that mentions beware when cooking bacon is right..I cooked hamburgers, sausages and to my surprise the grease i figured would all go down to the little plastic tray underneath the unit (most did) but some actually would drip into the burners 4 holes in the top. To clean that you have to remove all the screws for the top and you still cant get it all. So i concluded that from now on i will use a pan with the stove insert like a regular stove top, you just spend way to much time cleaning up otherwise. It took 15-20 min to cook..cooks great but the danger of a grease fire is real and the cleanup took about 30 min.
2. Even with non stick cooking spray the end result of using it like a grill is that you have burnt food like concrete on the grill insert because its not designed like a typical grill. It has in the center (where the burner would be under it) an solid area (obviously to protect grease from getting into the burner...failed) where any food just collects and burns no matter how you prepare and has to be chiseled of (im my case with a butter knife..just to loosen it)
other than those things this grill heats up super fast and i have yet to turn it past the lowest setting...but the clean up..omg pretty much sums it up. Trust me and get the stove top accessory with a good pan and save all the major clean up troubles.

Summary: Cute BBQ....
Comment: We bought this BBQ when we first set out RVing fulltime. It served it's purpose for awhile, and also looked great! On the road one day, the top came off and we managed to lose it....wasn't much good after that! Our next BBQ was the Weber Baby Q, which we found we liked much more!

Comment: We had been looking at the Roadtrip grill for some time for camping. We camp frequently and packing the grill & stove and the table we had to set them on was becoming cumbersome. We finally purchased this grill (we knew we wanted one with wheels) and we are so happy we did! It is fantastic!! It is easy to pack, easy to clean, easy to move around, and having a grill & stove all in one is very very convenient. We have even used it when we needed an additional grill for BBQ's at our home. We highly recommend this grill!
