Organic Mother's Milk promotes healthy lactation and is traditionally used to increase breast milk production. This traditional combination of anise, fennel and caraway has been in continuous use for centuries by European women. Organic Mother's Milk is recommended by lactation counselors and medical herbalists. How does it taste? A pleasantly aromatic balance of sweet, spicy and slightly bitter.

Customer Rating: Summary: hardly works on me, but tastes good Comment: I've had breastfeeding problems since the beginning, and I tried everything with little or no success. A friend recommended this product, and, unsurprisedly, it doesn't seem to have a strong effect on me (but perhaps a 20% increase with the pump? But 20% of very little is not much anyway...). It seems to work for most women, though, and it tastes great so doesn't harm!
Customer Rating: Summary: It really works Comment: I've always had problems pumping enough milk from the very beginning. I went from pumping around 3 ounces at work to 4 or even (sometimes) 5 ounces. I've always aimed to get 3 pumps of 4 ounces each and I was always coming up way short. Now, I have enough to give my son extra milk each day.
I can tell that I get more milk after I've had some tea verses when I've had very little tea. I have more milk at noon with the tea, than in the morning after hardly any tea. I have more milk later in the week after 3 days of tea, than on Monday morning after a weekend of no tea.
I usually have to have 3 to 5 cups of tea a day. You do get used to the taste. The only side effects I have noticed is that it makes me thirsty (more than likely from producing more milk), it gives me hot flashes, and it makes my son's toots really smelly. :)
Customer Rating: Summary: disgusting! Comment: I have no doubt that this tea works, but I could just not handle the taste. I am used to having traditional tea with milk and sugar. This had a very strong taste and smell and actually made me gag while I drank it. I even added milk and sugar, but just couldn't make myself swallow the drink. I gave up after 3 cups. I love my son, but just couldn't get this stuff down:(
Customer Rating: Summary: noticeable change Comment: i started drinking this tea when my daughter was two weeks old; i brew a huge pot with 5 bags, steep until it cools, and then store it in the fridge to chug throughout the day. i noticed an increase in my milk production after about 4 days--i went from pumping 1/2 to 1oz to at least 2oz every time (while nursing full-time). i agree the price is steep and that fenugreek tincture might be better, but it has worked for me. i hate licorice but the taste is mild and much more tolerable when iced!
Customer Rating: Summary: It worked... kind of Comment: I bought this after my daughter went through a nursing strike at two months to help build my milk supply back up so we could continue to breastfeed. I noticed a little bit of an increase in my supply but it wasn't quite enough and, ultimately, nursing still didn't work out for us past three months.
