Comment: OK if you have no cancer risk, but you shouldn't use if you or family has cancer history, especially estrogen receptor positive cancer. No products with black cohosh.

Comment: I recently had a hysterectomy & oophorectomy (ovaries out) so I needed something for the onslaught of hot flashes that came soon after. I've been taking Remifemin for a couple weeks now and still no improvement BUT the literature says it could take 4 - 12 weeks to notice improvement. I'm sticking with it for a while longer in hopes that I will get some relief. My only complaint is that the pills, tho small, are a little 'dry' and sometimes stick in my mouth or throat when I swallow. No major issue for me - just thought I'd mention it for those of you that may be pill phobic. You could cut the pill if it's a problem.

Comment: As I can't take hormones, I've been trying several natural products. Remifemin, better than others, has really reduced my night sweats. Although I still experience hot flashes, Remifemin actually reduced its frequency and intensity. Give it a try!
