Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Meal Replacement Bars Comment: I purchase all varieties of the 210 calorie meal replacement bar by South Beach. They are all good options with tea or coffee for breakfast when one doesn't have much time or just doesn't want to eat a lot. The high protein content (19 Grams)keeps you full a fairly long time. Vanilla Creme and Cinnamon Creme are my favs but all the flavors are acceptable. I have these in my pantry all the time as well as carrying one in my purse for times when I need to grab a quick lunch. Customer Rating: Summary: Lost 30 lbs so far Comment: I don't think I could have stuck to my diet without these bars. 30 lbs so far and still counting. The soy in it just makes me feel good. The fiber is awesome. No need to take fiber pills anymore. They do fill me up. Sometimes I only eat half of the bar and save the rest for later. To me it's the perfect Fast Food. Low carbs, high protein. It is a bit dry and I find myself drinking water or milk with it. But it does have a good chocolate taste. I usually have one for breakfast and it keeps me full until lunch. I would recommend it to replace breakfast. Customer Rating: Summary: Decent option on carb mgmt diet Comment: I have used the South Beach bars for about a year but they have been problematic. The nutrition content is good and the taste is okay. They do tend to cause some mild digestive distress though, especially if you are not careful to watch the rest of your diet. This may be just an individual issue but both my wife and I experience it.
