Comment: we purchased this machine for our 6 year old son last christmas. he has used the cd player and microphone alot. we have taken it to parties to use as a karaoke machine and it works fine sometimes and others the lyrics stall out or run together. Overall for the price we have gotten alot of enjoyment out of it and i plan to purchase a wireless mic for my son for christmas to use with this machine.

Comment: I just purchased this for my 6yr old daughter for Xmas. I did my research for 2 wks on any and all Karaoke machines. Now I'm not looking to have Karaoke night's every Friday, so I wasn't interested in anything to fancy or expensive. Just some simple fun at a fair price. And if that's what you want, this is it. I've read all the reviews on this machine, good and bad. And with anything, I took a chance. And I'm very happy I did. I just received it today. I opened it up to make sure it worked and was in good condition. And it was. It's a sharp looking machine. Easy to use and operate and carry for a 6yr old. I'm very happy. And for the price It's a steal. I know my daughter will love it.
The volume on the microphone sounds great, loud and clear. I only gave it 4 stars because I haven't played a cd in it yet.

Summary: Tons of Fun
Comment: We bought this for my daughter's 8th birthday. She loves just having it in her room and using it as a stereo and then picking up the mike and singing when the mood strikes her. We purchased a few karaoke CDs along with this and she didn't really enjoy doing it through the TV so she just kind of makes up the words as she goes along. I would buy this product again and it has been worth every penny.
