Summary: Good seller - Poor product
Comment: From the other reviews I read, this was the best product out there for help with Plantar Fasciitas. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. It may be OK for wearing around the house, but when being active running/basketball/et. it quickly slides down your foot and no longer provides any support in your arch.

Summary: Not Great
Comment: I don't know why this has gotten such high ratings here. I bought this several years ago to help combat my plantar fasciitis pain, particularly when I run. The Pro Tech arch supports would not stay in the proper position and kept sliding down my foot while I ran. Even when they did stay in place, they were incredibly uncomfortable. Finally, for something that claims to be for arch support, these provide a very small amount of arch support that is very low.

In my opinion, a much better product for all three problems are proper arch support insoles. I have been using Powersteps Originals for day to day wear, and Powersteps Pinnacles in my running shoes. They are a little hard to find (try podiatrists or specialty running stores), but they are worth it by providing excellent arch support that doesn't move (because it is an insole rather than something you have to strap to your foot) and that are incredibly comfortable.

Summary: Money better spend elsewhere...
Comment: Does not provide the support needed!

I purchased a pair of these and the product was delivered promptly, as promised. After wearing them for a couple of weeks, now, I have since decided that, though the product was exactly as stated, the pair does not offer enough arch support to make a noticeable difference.

The half-moon shaped paddings were but an eighth of an inch... or, heck, I would even be generous and say three-sixteenth of an inch thick, before compression. So, once I strapped these supports on, I could barely feel the paddings below my arches.

That said, the thin, black fabric cover material to the Velcro strap part came off easily during one unstrapping. Even though a bit of fabric glue solved the problem, the lack of any stitches in the production part made it all to simple to peel the fabrics apart. I can see repeated gluing in the future, on both supports, or else run them underneath a sewing machine for good.

And, besides, after these few weeks, they are already fraying at the seams and in a few more weeks, I got a feeling they will be ready for the trash.

In any case, bad design and production all around.

My conclusion is that, there is really no need to have the arch supports strapped to my feet since, as soon as I wiggled out of my shoes, I was ready to unstrap from all the sweats. I found the off-the-shelve arch supports with their slectable firmness or height inserts far more supportive and comfortable than these. So, in the end, throw in a couple of extra bucks and get those stay-in-the-shoes inserts instead.

Summary: Not quite right
Comment: These don't work well, rub the skin raw if you use on bare skin. The velcro fasten is not secure enough. The padding is lacking. Hard to get tight enough to be supportive.

Summary: May work well for some but not others, depending on your foot issues
Comment: I don't have plantar fasciitis. I have high arches, and often use orthotic shoe inserts to get adequate footbed support. I purchased this product because I sometimes get arch pain when not wearing shoes (eg: martial arts, Taiko drumming), and I have suspected this is due to stress from insufficient foot support.

This product has a compression pad located under the medial (inside) part of the arch which the packaging states is to "reduce excessive pronation" (walking with more pressure on the inner edge of the feet). Pronation is also not an issue of mine, as I am instead prone to supination (pressure on the outer edges). Wearing the product, I find I prefer to adjust it so that the compression pad is a bit more toward the center and under the highest portion of my arch, to achieve something more resembling (albeit vaguely) the behavior of an orthotic shoe insert. It feels a bit odd, but seems to provide some reasonable support; however I would prefer if the pad were a bit wider with tapered sides, like the raised area on a shoe insert. I realize, though, that this pad was not intended to serve as an orthotic arch support, but merely as a "wedge" on the inner side of the foot to inhibit pronation.

I like the adjustable feature, but the other issue I have noticed is discomfort (scratching) and irritation from the plastic backing of the velcro strap when wearing this product barefoot. I have to wear it over a sock.

It would be nice if this product were purchasable individually, not just in pairs, as I don't necessarily need to wear both. At $18.99 a pair, it's a bit pricey, though it seems durable.

For barefoot wear, as well as least bulky inside shoes, I find that the Pedifix Arch Bandage #P60 (do a search for best price on those; $8.99 for one is a bit steep) is more comfortable, though it is not adjustable. Your mileage may vary. :)
