Comment: I am happy to report that this may be a great buy. I went to the nearby retailers and they all wanted at least $100 for a garbage can. I love the infrared because that way REALLY MESSY or DIRTY HANDS NEVER TOUCH this garbage. It is compact so I can stash in a corner. Just don't put it in a high traffic area, or it will wave at you every time you go by!! lol

Comment: Can we all agree that NO ONE wants to deal with the trash? Is there a world where people love dealing with trash? Is there a guy who LOVES taking out the trash, cleaning the can, organizing the trash, digging through it for the glass to go into the recycle bin? Can someone hand out that guy's name and number and/or buy him a plane ticket to my house?
This trash can is great. It takes care of half the problem (the grime, grossness, grit in the middle of your kitchen). Now if only it came with someone to empty and change the bag for you!
