Summary: Motorola S805 driver (lack)
Comment: Pro's: A nice looking set of headphones for the price. Shop around, you'll find prices anywhere from $149 on Wireless Underground to $29.

Con's: It would be nice if Motorola supported these with software. My Vista system can't pair with them without a driver and the bluetooth drivers resident within Vista don't work. So they are worthless unless you can find a working driver. I have read that the Blue Soleil driver (priced at $20 on line) will make them work.

Overall: Motorola out to be drummed out of business for selling a product without the software required to make it work ....or at least have it available for free on their web site --- which they do not at this time (11/24/09)

Summary: Great for the price!
Comment: Great sound quality. I listen to bass-heavy music and it can keep up pretty well(especially for bluetooth). I have them set up on my laptop and it makes life of so much easier.

Summary: Good sound and reception
Comment: I bought them because of the incredible discount, paying $33 when it retails for $150??
Ok, but I think that actually the build quality doesn't feel like $150 but $35.
The sound is great, loud music plays good, too bad the next/prev controls won't work on my iPhone 3Gs. But Apple is to blame on that one, because those controls work well on the mac. Yep, you can set it to work with both at the same time! Once you figure it all out they work great, pressing the play button starts playing, you can adjust the volume and even answer phone calls...
I'd use them way more if they weren't such ear warmers... on the winter maybe

Summary: Excellent headphones for the money
Comment: TECHNICAL:

Ok, first of all, I have the original (2G) iPhone. That means no A2DP, so forget music streaming to the headphones the A2DP way. If you are a 2G iPhone owner like myself, there is still a way to stream music to the headphones, but it's a bit of a hack and slightly cumbersome to execute. It basically uses your HFP (Hands-Free Profile) bluetooth channel to stream music. Check the following site for more info on that: [...]. The sound quality is not very good in comparison to listening to the music via the A2DP profile.

PERFORMANCE:

(Music via HFP)
Out of 10 with the hack, I give the sound quality of the music a 3 or 4. It's really faint, and the music sounds like it's pushed really far into the background. But, that's what you get when trying to stream music through HFP.

(Music via A2DP)
Out of 10 using the wife's 3G iPhone with A2DP support, I give it a solid 7. The quality is great provided that there's no signal interference. The controls for adjusting the volume and play/pause/stop are easy to use. However, I have not been able to switch between audio tracks using the headset's controls.

(Phone calls)
Out of 10, I give the sound quality an 8. All things considered, I ultimately bought these headphones because I wanted a cheap solution for streaming my music wirelessly. Answering phone calls on this thing was sort of secondary, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out how clear the sound was. The microphone array is built into the right ear of the headset. I drive a convertible to/from work, and I'm told that I sound clear from the people listening on the other end.

(Pairing)
Pairing was pretty easy. It took a few minutes of scanning through the user manual to figure out how to make the headphones pair-ready, but it was a cinch to pair once that was squared away.

COMFORT:

Out of 10, I give the overall comfort a solid 9. I intentionally bought the cup-style headphones so that I could tune out my coworkers' conversations while I'm working. These headphones are very good at sealing out the sound. Now, they are no noise-cancelling headphones, but they are sufficient for what is expected out of them. They fit comfortably over the ears and are relatively easy to adjust for head size.

Ergonomics:

Out of 10, I give a 7. After a few trial runs, the controls are easy to find and use. I really like the rotary-style volume control They are basically dials that you rotate clockwise for volume down and counter-clockwise for volume up. The skip track controls are the same on the other ear, but

Summary: Great set of Headphones.....Just not with a macbook pro
Comment: I was looking for a decent and cheap set of bluetooth headphones for my Macbook Pro and came upon these. After reading some of the reviews, I thought it wouldn't be such a bad buy considering the price. As the title says, these headphones do not work well with a Macbook Pro. Sure it will connect and everything, but the bluetooth setup that apple has on these laptops suck. I mean, the sound has a lot of static and cuts out. I'm not sure if its OSX that's the problem or the bluetooth radio but all I know is that the sound coming from the headphones just did not sound nice. At this point I wondered if it was the headphones or the computer. So I switched to my Compaq running Windows XP and lo and behold it sounded incredible. No static, no cutouts, nothing. The sound was crisp on both bass and treble songs. It was easy to connect and was running A2DP. I can bet that most people who rated these headphones poorly either had a non A2DP compatible source or was using a Macbook Pro. So even though I enjoy my Mac, all I can say is that apple skimps out on small things like bluetooth and to some people that means a lot. Overall the headphones were comfortable and felt very solid. The charge time is long (3 hours), but is definitely worth it. I have yet to try these with a A2DP cellphone so sorry if I don't review call quality and such. Even with my problem with my Macbook Pro, I thought that it wasn't the headphone quality that affected the sound, it was the computer and that shouldn't affect the overall rating of the headphones, so I rated these 5 stars.

Pros:
Cheap!
Sound is impressive on both treble and bass. Stereo Sound
Sturdy construction
Comfortable fit
Easy to connect, just read the instructions
Long battery life

Cons:
Doesn't work well with a Macbook Pro
Long charge time
Make sure you have A2DP on your computer or cellphone. This does affect the sound quality.

Hopefully this review is helpful
