Spotlight customer reviews:

Customer Rating: Summary: The New Yorker Comment: We read EVERY article. Some we like more than others but all keep us thinking.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great mag, not great price. Comment: There were several online prices that match Amazon at 40 per year. I called The New Yorker directly at 800 825 2510 and got a price of 45 for 2 years. This is a great mag. Call the above number and get a great price as well.
Customer Rating: Summary: New Yorker - Last Great Print Magazine Comment: The New Yorker is the greatest magazine around. Genuinely compelling, long, and introspective articles, and real, original, investigative reporting. Articles by thinkers such as Malcom Gladwell on a regular basis. They even have well designed covers, every week. I can't say enough good things about the New Yorker. For those living in NYC, replete listings of local events and entertainment, as well as Theatre reviews.
Customer Rating: Summary: Very uneven Comment: I have several criticisms of the New Yorker:
1) Editorials--It's like reading Pravda. Tell me the title and I can tell you what will be written. In brief, EVERYTHING Bush--Evil terrible. EVERYTHING Obama--Great.
2) Snob articles--Who wants to read puff pieces about Nora Ephron and her buddies?
3) Seymour Hersch--He is accurate maybe 50% of the time. In many cases things he wrote were proven to be wrong and we never get a followup or correction.
Customer Rating: Summary: New Yorker Magazine renewal Comment: I ordered a renewal of my subscription to this magazine, but your acknowledgements indicated a new subscription. I do not want two magazines delivered for the remainder of my original (as yet unexpired) subscription. Your software needs to be improved in this area.
Sincerely, Charles Chadbourn
