I wouldn't recommend it, they need to add more 'filler' to allow it to get as warm as the original bed buddy, then it would be 'perfect'! Customer Rating: Summary: good concept - but just doesn't do it Comment: I purchased this for my husband who has a severe neck injury and needs to alternate cold and heat to help with the pain. When I saw this, I thought that was exactly what he needed. The concert is great and the design is great, but it doesn't hold the cold or heat long enough to really make a difference. It sits comfortably around the neck, but without the heat or cold, it might as well be a shawl. Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful product Comment: The size is great. And so versatile! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I would like a little more heat. I first tried the recommended 1.5 min. Then had to heat for an additional minute. I'm going to be giving these as Christmas gifts this year.
