Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: A cautionary review Comment: Like the other reviewers I paid $0.01 for this charger. It arrived quickly and in good condition. I used it this morning to charge my phone (LG CU400) on the way to work. The trip took about 60 minutes and when I arrived the battery indicator had moved from 1 bar to 3 so it appears to do what it is supposed to. Based on the above this would be a 5-star review. However,my concerns. The charger has no mass to it. Other car chargers I have used have had a little heft to them. This one feels fairly insubstantial much like its plastic packaging. Though I don't plan on testing it, dropping the charger would most likely render it unusable. The connector on this charger is almost the same size as the one on my AC charger but seems to be slightly narrower in width and height. It fits in the port but not snugly. And finally what concerns me most. When I grasped the charger to remove it after an hour's use, it was HOT! Not warm but uncomfortably hot. I grabbed several napkins and used them when removing the charger and could feel the heat then as well. I am keeping the product but for emergency use only. I hope this is helpful.
