I had seen them at HomeGoods a couple of months ago and thought they were a bit on the soft side (they were selling them for $5 each so the Amazon deal for a set of three seemed attractive). In any case, I don't find them particularly useful when it comes to scraping - if you are working with dough, they are useless. Their handles are smooth and feel alright in my hands but they could be a tad longer. Their heads do come off. A few people have commented here that they liked the fact that the heads didn't come off. Well, the set I got has removable heads. In fact, in my experience, the head of the smallest spatula can be removed a bit too easily. If you are looking for a flexible yet firm silicone spatula, this set will disappoint you.
