Summary: Great cup of coffee!
Comment: Amazon was having a great deal on coffee makers and we were looking to replace our BUNN. We love this coffee maker! It makes a great cup of coffee. Our favorite feature is the small pot brew. If you only need 1 to 4 cups it heats the water extra hot so even the small pots taste wonderful. We have not found that filling it is a problem.
I don't know why others are having problems but we just take the top off the carafe, fill it from the side and its ready to go. You don't even need the carafe to fill it. It has a water measure on the side of the unit itself. We highly recommend this Cuinsinart.

Summary: What's not to love ?
Comment: What can I say -- WE LOVE this coffee maker. I can find absolutely no down-side. This is about the umpteenth coffee maker we have owned and the FIRST EVER to not drip when pouring a cup of coffee ! ! I didn't find any of the issues mentioned in previous reviews. I thought we would only get this quality coffee maker by paying twice the price of this one. From now on it's definitely Cuisinart coffee makers for us !

Comment: Have used mostly "high end" Mr Coffee in the past. There is always an issue with them, spills when pouring, leaks, etc. Researched the Cuisinart line and ordered the DCC-1100BK from Amazon. VERY fast shipping and excellant price. The coffeemaker is very good looking with a much higher gloss black plastic than many units that cost slightly less. Makes very good, hot coffee. Works much faster than others that I've used, and has helpful features too. No problem with spills when pouring water into the water reservoir, no leaks anywhere, and the carafe never drips when pouring a cup of coffee. Easy to program and use. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!
