The salt in Ahava products comes from the Dead Sea in Israel. When I was sitting on the Dead Sea (you can't sink, because the weight of the salt makes you pop up) I noticed an incredible difference in the silky feeling of my skin. I've been using this product for many years, and the purifying, soothing effect of the Dead Sea salt is incredible. When I was there, I spoke with other people who were also in the water with me.
