Summary: Great buy solution for extending monitor setup
Comment: This was a great solution for my set up using my 15" Macbook pro with 26" samsung monitor and Intuos4 tablet. I have a cramped desktop niche and this served as a perfect solution. I also use my Macbook pro in clamshell mode using the book arc and when storing the mstand in the office it fits in great with all the apple designed hardware and looks very intentional. I like the weight of it, it's very sturdy and there is no give to it which is great. The overall finish is seamless in design with the apple line up.

Summary: Solid Stand
Comment: I thought this item was a tad overpriced when I bought it, but I really liked the looks and functionality of it. I was pleasantly surprised by how solid the stand actually is. Looked great with my MacBook Pro and now with my MacBook Air. Raises the screen to a good level for use with my 22" monitor.

Summary: Not Just Your Ordinary Stand
Comment: While the mStand is a beautiful product that complements the aluminum finish of the MacBook Pro line, that's not the only thing it's good for. I have my MBP hooked up to an external monitor and the mStand puts the laptop at almost the same height as the external monitor which makes working with both screens much easier. The stand itself is extremely sturdy - I've bumped it on a few occasions - and also has the added benefit of working as a cord organizer for all the cords running to my MBP. While it is pricey, it's well worth the extra investment and that comes from someone who tried five different stands offered here on Amazon prior to purchasing the mStand.

Summary: Very nice, but VGA plug doesn't fit cable management design
Comment: This stand is aesthetically pleasing and does the basic job of holding the laptop. The only issue I have is that the hole in the back for cable management is not big enough for a VGA plug. Since the Mini Display Port to VGA connector is short, you would need to pass the VGA plug through the hole in the back to use it, but it doesn't fit. This is not a big issue for my desk however and overall the stand performs very well.
