Summary: Beautiful and long lasting
Comment: I bought this product a couple of months ago and I am now placing another order for another one. It glides on smoothly and lasts a long time! Some people stated that it smudges...it does, but only after about 8-9 hours. The price is an added plus and Avon is superfast with shipping! I love this eyeliner!

Summary: Best eyeliner so far!
Comment: For years I've been purchasing the Glimmersticks Eyeliner by Avon in Blackest Black. I have green eyes but dark hair so I like the dark eye look. I usually stock up on several of these at a time so I never run out. Well, I ran out a few months ago and decided to buy Physicians Formula instead b/c of price and the sharpening ability. I have to say that I liked the PF but it smudges more and doesn't stay on all day like the Glimmersticks do. I actually had a friend think that I wore liquid eyeliner while wearing the Glimmersticks. I had to tell her it was a pencil...that's how good it goes on and makes a nice dark line on the eyes. If you rub your eyes, of course you will rub the eyeliner off but it really does stay on all day long...more than any other eyeliner I have ever tried.
I keep going back to the Avon Glimmersticks b/c of the ease of use and how it lasts on the eyes. Also, I noticed that this actually lasts a lot longer with use...I end up going thru 1 eyeliner a month with the PF, the Avon Glim. lasts for about 2-3 months at a time for me b/c I don't have to sharpen it that much to get the look I want.
I don't recommend this for a smokey look...you would be better off getting a pencil that smudges more cuz it's more powdery. If you put the Glimm. on the bottom eyelid, you can use your finger to smudge it a bit but that's about it.

Summary: My favorite Avon product
Comment: I tried this eyeliner when I was 19. That was, um.... a while ago. Since then I've tried many other brands, and this is still my favorite. It glides on nicely without poking or pulling. I had Lasik a year ago, so I really appreciate that now! This liner is good for a soft, natural, smudgy look. If you are looking for a black liner or a defined line that stays put, I would go with a liquid eyeliner instead. I have dark brown eyes & medium skin, and my go-to look is a gray or purple smoky eye and an understated lip gloss. Their gray and purple blend into the shadow well to intensify the color without making it harsh. And it makes my eyes themselves look pretty darn good, too. As far as wear, I think it does pretty well in the northern US, but not so much in the humid south. To be fair though, I couldn't get anything to stay on my face during a Hot Springs summer.

Comment: I had worn this color ( Saturn Grey once) when I was in my 20s and unless the formula has changed , I just didn't find it had a very good staying power. Nice colors thou. The idea of not having to sharpen was great but it does not last all day and it does bleed. I bought it once in my 20s and haven't bought it since.To me , color should last and I am talking more than an hour or 2. Try the Make-Up For Ever liners. They are awesome and boy do they stay.
