For best results use a small bit of butter or margarine to coat the pods. That works much better than oil or oil spray which just collects at the bottom of the pod. I've got it down to a science. I rub a very small amount of butter on the pod, add the egg, and place in simmering water for about 6 minutes. The eggs easily slip out of the pod. Perfect every time.
