Summary: Excellent set of hearing protectors
Comment: I've used a few different sets of hearing protectors in the past few years to block out background noise while I'm working. This pair is by far the best I've tried. The padding is very comfortable--even when I'm wearing glasses. They fit snugly, yet are not too tight, and they seem fairly durable. As with any pair of hearing protectors, they aren't as effective at blocking lower-pitched sounds, but other than that, they do their job well. I would recommend them.

Summary: Cushion parts fell off
Comment: My workplace is noisy, so I bought these. The price is right. They
muffle all of the harsh sounds. After a while, if you wear them long
enough, though, your ears get sore. You have to take them off every so often.
Another problem. I left them in my hot car and ever since then, both
cushions fall out. They don't fit into the canister tight enough. Both
of them fell out one day when I was walking with them in my hand. If
someone hadn't pointed it out, they would have been lost. I'm going to
have to get some Atomic Glue and glue them in. I also use them as
cheap headphones. I use ear buds and place these over them. It works
great, especially for audio books. It's hard to understand audio
books in my work environment. After I glue them, they should be fine.
I'd give them a 4 or 5 if they didn't make my ears sore, or fall apart.
Recommended. Just make sure the cushions fit tight.

Comment: This product is an excellent hearing protector. I have used it while firing everything from a .22 to a .357 and 35 Remington. It works. Will also block out snoring, but is a little uncomfortable to sleep while wearing them except on your back. Lightweight and affordable are also key factors.

Comment: I work in a pretty typical cubicle environment and I purchased these earmuffs because I was looking for a way to drown out the background noise and chatter. Being someone who needs absolute silence to work productively I can say with full confidence that this is the best $20 I've spent in a while. These babies block out the vast majority of noise completely, and whatever comes through is muffled to the point where it's basically negligible. They were a little hard to get used to at first because of the head pressure that's inherent to all earmuffs, but I now wear them throughout most of the day every single workday.
