Made of only pure, crushed minerals from the earth, i.d. bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation looks like a powder, feels like a cream and buffs on like silk, giving skin a natural luminosity, and feels as if you are not wearing any makeup at all. The coverage is flawless, free of preservatives, talc, oil, waxes, fragrances, and other chemicals that can irritate skin and cause breakouts.
To use: For flawless coverage, apply i.d bareMinerals Foundation following the three simple steps below:
1.SWIRL a small amount of bareMinerals in the lid with the Flawless Application Face Brush into the lid until all the bareMinerals are tucked into the bristles.
2. TAP away excess. There should be no visible bareMinerals on the outside of the brush.
3. BUFF the bareMinerals into the skin in a circular motion, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbone, swirling as you go. Buff around your face and then approach your forehead, cheeks, and nose. Buff, buff, buff until you are satisfied with the coverage.
*Remember less is more when applying i.d. bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation.

Comment: This stuff really is the best foudation ever. The commercials don't lie, its truly like a magic eraser, I have slept in this stuff, and my face doesn't break out or anything, its the best foundation i've ever used and i will never go back to that paste like cream stuff again!!
I've used one other brand of mineral foundation, you know the "knock off" stuff, and it just doesn't hold up to the original. And the best thing about buying it on amazon is that its affordable!

Summary: My favorite foundation
Comment: I love this foundation. It goes on so very smooth and feels weightless. Stays on even in the hottest weather and has a natural sunscreen too. I have very sensitive skin and have found this foundation does not cause any irritation at all.
The color is a good match to most medium skin tones. This evens up my skin tone and took away some redness too. Application is easy but make sure you have a soft big brush to apply and a smaller brush for trouble areas and underneath the eyes.

Comment: I am in love with this product! I have always hated using foundation, but powders never had the coverage I needed. The first time I tried Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals, it looked terrible. But after a little practice, it is by far, the best foundation I have ever used. I have very blotchy skin, with dark red patches and acne scars. This product gives me the flawless skin nature didn't!
I have tried several of the competitor's products that claim to be mineral foundation, but none of them worked as well as the Bare Escentuals. In fact, none of them worked at all for me!
Be sure to follow the Swirl, Tap, Buff instructions, or it will not work right! I have also learned that using lotions of any kind before this product, will cause clumping in that area. I use Mineral Veil before the foundation when I have recently used lotion, or need extra coverage.
