Customer Rating: Summary: Good quality and service Comment: This box of 50 ear loop face masks meets both its advertising and my needs. Highly recommended.

Customer Rating: Summary: Not Useful Against Flu Comment: I felt this product was mis-advertised. I did a search for masks for flu and this one came up, yet it is not useful against the flu.
Customer Rating: Summary: Matches Description Comment: Delivered as promised, product arrived as described. Has been extremely useful as I feed and play with my infant son when I am sick. Of course these cannot guarantee that he won't get sick, but it's nice to feel like I'm not breathing in his face and if I cough or sneeze it's automatically "covered."
Customer Rating: Summary: A sick person can reduce germ spread by wearing these! Comment: An article in the Washington Post Health section today suggests that transmission of flu within a family (or group of people living together) can be reduced by having the *sick person* wear a cloth mask. It minimizes the droplets that can spread the virus to others. "In a 2009 study involving sick schoolchildren in Australia, the use of soft masks reduced the risk of acquiring infection by 60 to 80 percent. Given that the soft mask does not screen all the viral droplets, I suspect some of the protection from the masks came from preventing hand-to-face contact." Of course, frequent hand-washing is still important. "In one Detroit study, schoolchildren who washed their hands four times a day had 20% fewer sick days due to respiratory illness than did students in general, and 57% fewer days lost due to upset stomachs."
Customer Rating: Summary: Travel so Far Comment: These masks were for a home care nurse in Puerto Rico who could not get her hands on any. They arrived well packaged and on time.
