Summary: Cool looking art more than lamp
Comment: This is more SpongeBob art than lamp. The bulb, if placed correctly in lower hole -that has metal reinforcement, I may add, seems safe enough. Mostly we use this as a fun statue of SpongeBob, frozen mid-run, looking cute as ever. We found ours at a thrift shop at a great price.

Summary: waste of money and dangerous
Comment: I purchased this product on clearance for $3.00 and spent too much. The design is awful with the body being too heavy to stand securely. The bulb got too close to the body and melted onto the bulb, how dangerous is that? The thing is more like a nightlight or fire hazard waiting to happen. Don't waste your money or risk your lives!
