It is not a true size to fit, it runs small. I read this and the review "not so loose fitting" two reviews below. I would recommend to order one size larger. I ordered an XL for my husband, since he buys XL t-shirts and they tend to be "roomy" and loose on him. This XL rash guard was too tight, so the size was actually smaller than an average XL t-shirt. Amazon refunded the purchase which was nice, but it still was disappointing to have to re-order it one size larger. It's a great product and I hope you enjoy it :) Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect sun/water shirt Comment: We bought this for my father-in-law and he loves it! It is perfect for him. They just put in a pool and he needs to keep the sun off of him as much as possible. He likes it because it is looser fitting than a traditional rash guard and doesn't cling like a t-shirt would. He normally wears a XL t-shirt, so we got him an XL and it fits perfectly. I just ordered another one for my dad. Wore it 4 days in a row, and it never showed any wear. Be sure to order up a size however, unless you want it SKIN TIGHT. I ordered up one size and it fit like a slim cut T shirt. If it were any bigger, it would have be awkward to wear in the water. It also dries very quickly in the water. WONDERFUL PURCHASE!!
