The perfect companion to any digital camera, PictureMate is the ideal choice in portable photo printers. In fact, it's been the number one selling small-format printer three years in a row -- the personal photo lab that's easy to use at home or on the go.

Customer Rating: Summary: Be careful if used infrequently Comment: If you plan to use this printer infrequently (sometimes weeks or months between uses) then please be aware that you may experience a problem with the ink drying and clogging the system. After 5 months of no activity (and no cartridge in the unit), I found that the printer is unusable because of an ink clog. Repeated self-cleanings over a series of days were of no help. I contacted a repair center and it would cost $120 to fix (which is not worth it). The technician said that on this style of printer you need to print a photo each week to keep the ink from drying inside it.
It is a great printer when it is used frequently. Just don't let it sit unused for weeks at a time or you will invite problems.
Customer Rating: Summary: The BEST!!!!!!! Comment: This printer is simply AWSOME. I got it a few weeks ago and WOW!!!. This printer printed better photos than the ones I got from Walgreens. The setup was simple, for me no need to read the instructions. The ink that comes with it is a joke, only got 15 or so photos out of the ink pack. ALSO DON'T GET THE INK PACKAGE THAT AMAZON'S SAYS "Frequently Bought Together" the ink is the wrong size. Also you can buy the replacement ink from Bestbuy....FYI. I guess my only thing is that the printer is a little slow...don't get me wrong it's still an excellent printer for the price.
Customer Rating: Summary: cool little printer Comment: I've been impressed with this printer overall - the pictures look terrific.
Coolest feature is plugging in a bluetooth dongle (I had one already - wasn't the Epson model) and being able to print directly from a cell phone, which is how we've done most printing with it so far.
Pictures are every bit as good as from a picture lab.
It's a little loud and a little slow (although it's one of the faster printers in its class), but is perfect for why we got it, which is to be able to conveniently print a picture every now and then, without having to run to a photo lab or print from the desktop printer, often printing something off the cell phone.
Customer Rating: Summary: Love it! Comment: This printer is such a joy! It is really easy to set up and the prints come out so fast! The borderless borders are actually borderless!!! I can't believe it!
Customer Rating: Summary: A great little compact unit. Comment: I had purchased this unit because i was dissatisfied with the prints i was getting from like walgreens and walmart. even though i adjusted my pictures before i had prints made, so many of the prints i got back weren't even close to what i was seeing on my computer. i printed a couple of the same pictures on my all in one printer and they turned out much closer to what i was seeing on my computer. this is why i purchased a photo printer. i have only used it so far with the sample pack that came with it, but the prints were a good quality. it took some wasted prints to learn the editing that could be done, but overall the adjustments are pretty easy now to do. i like the portable use of it, which will let me take the printer when i go to indoor sports shows. i like the idea where i can just use my memory card from the camera and print my own prints quickly. i am anxious to find out how the epson adjustments will work with pictures right from the memory card, when shooting with no flash in sports mode often leaves adjustments to be done to the picture. of course, i can always just wait and put the pics into my computer and adjust them and transfer the finished edited pics to a flash drive, and then use the epson to do my prints. or use the computer with the epson. whichever way, i am quite happy with the sample prints i had done and i believe i will get a lot better prints then from other stores.
