Summary: Fraud, Scam Artists
Comment: My opinion of this product is, it is good CD burning software but has terrible product support. It used to be good for creating DVD video but one of their software updates seems to have destroyed that ability. Now, instead of releasing another update to fix what they broke, it seems they expect people to just buy the newest version, and pay another $70 or so to get back what was already paid for. It also seems that, instead of fixing the problem, they just removed the bit about being able to author a DVD from all of the promotional material. I am giving this product the lowest possible rating just because, in my opinion, it doesn't do what it was advertised to do. If you are looking for video editing software, I recommend Pinnacle Studio instead of this product.

Summary: not what it seems to be
Comment: I was very unhappy to find out that the photo part of this program was dropped and not useable on the disc. Nero 7 will not work on "Vista but Nero 8 is not as complete as Nero 7

Summary: Works like a charm!
Comment: I have used Nero before back on version 5.5 Since then I've used Roxio 6, 7, and 7.5 And when I went to upgrade this time I decided to try Nero again. It works like a charm! Everything I've tried to do it does just fine. I especially like the Nero Home feature. Personally, I have had no issues yet whatsoever but I will continue to use the software and keep this review updated if any problems arise. I'm running this on a Gateway GT5662 running Windows Vista Premium 32 bit.

Summary: nero 8 a price gouger
Comment: Don't buy any nero products. A few days after I instaled nero it stoped working. Tech help is avalible at a cost for ever call $1.00. Down load a posible solution 12 hours and if that don't work, more problems. This is nothing less than Electronic harassment. Buy their product and you'll reget it. I want to write more but I'm getting ever more upset just setting hear typing.

Comment: Sorry this products does not live up to the hype. After initial install it stopped working because of constant updates that have yet to be installed correctly.
