Summary: Very Impressive
Comment: I have used this razor now for three months. Hard to imagine being happier. I have owned about half a dozen electric razors over the past 25 years and this one is by far the best. It gives the closest shave I have ever had. Also gives the fastest shave; taking fewer passes over my beard than any other electric I ever had. The battery is good for well over a week. The handle is a pleasure to hold. Out of habit I still manually clean this razor every day, and so have only used the HydraClean system once. It seemed to work fine and was easy to use. I literally have no complaints about this product.

Comment: I bought this shaver with the intention of getting the most comfortable shaver around. and yes, it is extremely comfortable. However, it is only comfortable because it doesn't actually shave. You won't feel much of a burn because it isn't shaving. I was very upset to finally use it and to realize that it isn't doing anything. Still, I used it for a few weeks, because sometimes your skin just has to get used to it before it works properly. Now... it still doesn't shave and barely cuts hair when i shave against the flow of the hair. Overall, don't fall for it for its comfort, because I would rather deal with a horrible burn than something that does not shave at all.

Summary: A good electric shaver
Comment: For most of my shaving life I have used blades but have have also used a couple of Norelco electric shavers in the past.
The idea of a wet dry electric shaver appealed to me and the reviews of the Panasonic were on balance pretty good so I decided to give it a try.
I'm happy with it. I have to go over my face a few times but it gives a close comfortable shave. I use it wet, usually with King of Shaves shaving oil on my face. Used wet there is no skin irritation.
Although the shaver did not indicate a need for it, I used the Hydraclean system. It is a little noisy but appears to do a satisfactory job.
It's possible over the long run it would pay for itself since razor blades are so expensive; but by the look and feel of it if you drop it on anything but a well padded surface it would be destroyed.
