Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Pretty good temporary solution Comment: I had gotten RK done about 15 years ago and my vision varied during the day. I tried to make a pair of non-prescription bifocals with these and reading glasses, since it was useless to get another prescription. They are a bit big for most reading glases, and do fall out with the glasses being handled. I tried super-gluing the lenses into the reading glasses, bad idea! the refraction index of the superglue makes them useless. So I got a cheap pair of progressive bifocals and it's a better solution for us post-RK folks. Customer Rating: Summary: These are awesome!!! Comment: I've used these before, but the price was excellent. THey turn sunglasses into bifocals. This way you can read your GPS or see who's calling before you answer your phone. They can also be removed and reapplied to another pair of glasses later. You can also trim them down for slimmer styles. Customer Rating: Summary: For me, they didn't work out Comment: I bought these to apply to a particular (expensive) pair of sunglasses - and that didn't work out. The lenses curve quite a bit and I couldn't get a good seal. If you don't get a good seal... well, at worst they fall off of course, but at best you get the blurriness that others have noted. I suppose if I'd had glasses that were not wrap-around these would have worked as I'd hoped they would. Customer Rating: Summary: Does what it needs to do Comment: I was looking for reading sunglasses for a vacation to Mexico. There seem to be the ~$15 dollar versions and the ~$150+ versions with very little in between. My sunglass of choice is the RayBan Aviator. These stick-on lenses let me keep my preferred style AND be able to read by the pool. They were easy to stick to the RayBan lens (which is glass and spherical), and I have had no problems with the stick-on detaching in two months of use, even in the humid Mexican summer or while splashing in the pool. The users who have had problems seem to be dealing with plastic lenses or high curvatures. For the money, these lenses do what they need to do. This is my second pair as one of the bi-focals came off and I couldn't find it.
