They were a bit too salty for my liking, so I rinsed them, and toasted them in the oven, and added back a little bit of salt. They are fantastic now! Comment: I bought these because they were cheaper than the ones from the azar nut company, but was disappointed. The taste isn't even close. I purchased a couple and the first cup or so tasted good, not great, but good. One bag later I wanted to throw the other one's out, but didn't because mac nuts cost an arm and a leg. The ones from Azar are far superior in taste, texture and even look. The Azar one's don't come salted, but I actually like dipping them is salt, garlic, or cinnamon anyways. You'll pay a little more, but you won't be disappointed. If you're not using them for baking, you may want to buy the roasted kind as the other one's are raw. Not sure what they would taste like raw, but I'm not using them for baking, so the roasted ones works for me. I was worried that I wouldn't get them in time for Christmas, but the company shipped them in two packages. And actually they both arrived in time, in spite of snow that kept falling in our area.
