Made of a highly durable, polymer/fiberglass composite, molded in the shape of an "S," The Backnobber II device can be hooked over the shoulder or under the arm so that one of the two ends can be pressed into any of the muscles of the neck or shoulders, back, hips and hamstrings. The Backnobber II tools natural shape and dimensions allow the user to apply as much pain-releasing pressure for as long as required to achieve its remarkable effects. I use this in addition to massage to be able to get to the hard-to-reach trigger points. The size was also ideal. If one size isn't right, flip it over and use the other. I'd definitely recommend it. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Product / Bad delivery Comment: I love the Backnobber II so much that I bought another to leave at work and one for a friend. My first order was ordered on Amazon through another company and I received it in 5 days, the second order I ordered directly through Amazon because of a better price...... This order took over two weeks to receive. I received emails notifying me it was on it way and the expected date of delivery, well that day came and went and nothing showed up. After a week and a half I decided to call and find out what was going on with my order, I don't know what happened but they ended up canceling my order placing a new one and overnighting them to me. I called on a Saturday so I received the order on Tuesday which was the day they said it would arrive. Great customer service but the couple of dollars I saved wasn't worth the time it took to receive the order. Customer Rating: Summary: Product was good but... Comment: I enjoy the product every day. It replaced my shorter, flimsier massager which I bought for a dollar. Yes, this is more expensive but well worth the price! Yes it's bulky, but that is the reason for being great. One complaint was that I ordered a blue one but got a purple instead. i think the person who packed it was colorblind... Customer Rating: Summary: Great when you really need a massage but don't have a masseuse Comment: While nothing beats a real massage from a skilled massage therapist, if you have the Backnobber along with a foam roller and a couple of baseballs (great for the lower back), you could get by (and this combo is better than paying for a crappy massage from an unskilled therapist). I have some pretty tight knots and while this doesn't totally get rid of it (and most massage therapist can't neither so not a knock on the product), it does provide relief. The knob really gets into the hard to reach places, I have a chronic tightness deep in my shoulder blade around the subscapula and other than a therapist, this tool is the only thing that can get to it. I think it comes with instructions, I got mine secondhand from my sister but there are some helpful videos on YouTube for this. Less effective on the lower back for me (I'm fairly thickly muscled in the back) but for the shoulder area, this is aces. I am a professional dancer, and my physical therapist recommended it. It is one of the best ways to relieve back, shoulder, and even leg pain. At home, we affectionately call it the "S-Curve", and have convinced multiple friends to purchase one. Brilliant buy!!
