The clasps on the chain are too small to keep undoing and clasping.. The slide on and off of about a 28" to 30" chain should suffice..for the average head.. You might add that with the sale of the crosses..and other pendants.. It complements the silver dragon pendant that it was bought for, and, on second thought, it is actually better than a thicker chain would have been. My son is pleased with it, and happy that he can again wear his dragon pendant since he was born in the year of the dragon.
