It was working intermittently, then shorted out completely. I would like Amazon to replace this item as soon as possible, but I have not received any reply to my complaints to customer service repeatedly. Comment: The USB cord is all you need. I dont think I used the CD at all. However, the plastic casing for the plug broke off after 10 uses. The plus is that it still works (data still transfers), the minus is that there is no grip to so it makes it difficult to attach & detach the phone. With the price, I didnt expect too much... so for this to actually still transfer data is deserving of 2 stars.
