Extreme typo or "E-bay style" ripoff charge? You make the call! Customer Rating: Summary: Great paddle for the price! Comment: The paddles are sturdy and very lightweight. One of the best places in my area often has trees in the water, and the paddle is sturdy enough to push off the trees without worrying about the paddle breaking or bending. I use them with Sevylor Inflatable Tahiti Classic Canoe, and I am very pleased after 5 outings. I did not pay attention to the length and this one seems rather short, but I was able to mix pieces of both and make 2 perfect length paddles. They are built wonderfully and the fact that they are in 2 pieces makes it great for transporting. Customer Rating: Summary: Seasense Paddle Not Made for Ocean Comment: I bought the product because it was the least expensive option. These are not meant for hard paddling, like trying to ride waves in the ocean. They're made by Seasense, but not made for the sea. The shape of the paddle is flat as opposed to rounded, making it harder to paddle. The grips, which I thought would be nice, slip while you are paddling. Also the paint scratches off easily after one or two uses. Altogether, I got what I paid for, but I would advise you to spend the extra money if you want to get something for the ocean.
