Comment: I purchased this product on Monday and Amazon had it delivered at my door on Wednesday - this was their free shipping. I installed it on Friday to replace a 6 yr old builder grade disposer that started to leak from the bottom of the unit. Installation was very easy - had not installed one previously. This unit is very fast/powerful and we could barely hear it running. Other reviewers indicated that this unit was loud, we couldn't disagree more. As others have stated, it took me longer to remove the old unit than to install this one. I had a hardwired unit before, so I put that wire on a grounded outlet under the sink out of the way of any of the water lines the day before. I did a drain test of the old unit versus the new one, and ther water did drain slower, but only because the splash guard has tigher flaps that our previous one. Very pleased with the unit.

Comment: I had an older Wast King that was 20 years old. This new one is much faster and quieter. I would recomend it to all my friends . Great product.

Comment: I am very pleased with the this product. It is was easy to install. It works flawlessly. It is very quite but not so quite that you forget it is on. My only complaint is that the drain collar is plastic. My hope is that it will last as long as the disposal.

Summary: Customer service takes a 3 day weekend, evidently
Comment: We had a little difficulty on the installation. It was Friday and still early when we called for tech assistance, but customer service did not return the call until Monday. For this reason, I was tempted to downgrade the product one star; however, I have been so pleased with this disposer that it was only fair to give it high honors. It works great and is the most quiet disposer I have ever used. Amazon also surprised my handyman with their speedy shipping. Yeah Amazon!
