Summary: It worked once I downloaded the driver and bitpim program
Comment: I was looking for a usb cable for my lg vx5300 to retrieve some pictures from the phone. They were taken after I'd disconnected the phone service. I was very pleased when I was able to locate this cable for $.01 + 2.98 S & H.
I downloaded the driver and then the bitpim software - both were found online. Once I opened the software I searched for "wallpaper" and I was able to retrieve all pictures from my phone. I then copied them to a file on my pc. Mission accomplished!
